Delivering Generations: Dr. Revoir’s Connection with One Family

Twenty-two years ago, Michelle delivered Lynzy at St. Luke’s with the help of OB-GYN Dr. Elisabeth Revoir. Now, decades later, Dr. Revoir helped Lynzy deliver her firstborn son, Greyson.

Lynzy’s mom Michelle was in the delivery room for Greyson’s birth, too. “Dr. Revoir delivered both my girls,” she said. “It was so good to see her again after all these years and to have her help Lynzy the same way she helped me. It was a really special thing to be a part of.”

When Lynzy learned that she was pregnant, Dr. Revoir was her first pick for an obstetrician. “There are so many unknowns with pregnancy and birth,” said Lynzy, newborn Greyson resting in her arms. “I was so glad that Dr. Revoir was able to deliver him. She listened to me and just really cared about us. It was a really good experience.”

For Dr. Revoir, it was a reminder of just how significant her work really is. “I love taking care of the women in our community,” she said. “It means so much to me to see the next generation be healthy and to start having healthy babies of their own. It’s such a testament to what we do at St. Luke’s. I feel honored to be part of that legacy.”
