Staying Active with Remote Telemetry

By Lori Swanson, Director of Women’s and Children’s Services

One thing all expectant moms love to hear? “You have options.” Helping moms have the labor experience they want starts by providing plenty of choices, whether that’s pain management or a Birth Plan.

Remote telemetry is one of those options moms love because it means they can get up, walk around and move as needed while in labor. Being able to stretch, use a birthing ball or roam the halls can both help labor along and put mom in more control of the process.

Hear more about remote telemetry from Stephanie Forslund, Clinical Supervisor at St. Luke’s Birthing Center.
